Synopsis by Phil Griffin
Aspiring musician Jerry Herst (Leo Marks) leaves his family and moves to Hollywood, seeking to become a student of Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco (Xander Berkeley), who wrote hundreds of scores for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. As a piano teacher, he mentored many of the industry's future star composers, including John Williams, Henry Mancini and Randy Newman. With Castelnuovo-Tedesco's help, Herst works to unlock his creative potential and overcome his self-doubt. Directed by Adam Cushman.
