Synopsis
Cinematographer Adam Ravetch follows an Inuit father as he teaches his 13-year-old son to hunt during a three-month, 500-mile odyssey on Arctic Canada's Southampton Island. Ravetch comes up with some stunning shots as he swims with polar bears and walruses. The father-son bonding Ravetch also captures is poignant, as is the respect the Inuits show for their prey, and the father's fear that modern intrusions will destroy their way of life.
