Synopsis by Betsy Boyd

Living Edens: Kakadu, Australia's Ancient Wilderness transports viewers to Kakadu, the largest terrestrial national park in Australia. Located at the northern fringe of the Northern Territory, Kakadu comprises almost 8,000 square miles of amazing wildlife habitat, which runs from high-stone plateau to forest woodland, monsoon rainforest to open flood plains spotted with billabongs, estuaries to coastal sands of the Arafura Sea. Nearly 60 species of mammals dwell in Kakadu. The documentary photographs crocodiles, frill-necked lizards, water pythons, pelicans, egrets, and more. The area also boasts the longest continuous surviving human culture on earth. Viewers get a chance to observe these aborigine people, descendants of the first Australians.
