Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
Based on the 19th century classic by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, The Legend of Hiawatha is an animated adventure that tells the story of a Native American boy who grows up to be an Ojibway chief. Along the way, Hiawatha is raised by his wise grandmother and faces many challenges throughout his life. Produced by DVD, Ltd., the film is part of a series of animated films adapted from such classics as Kidnapped, Tom Sawyer, and Westward Ho.
