Tanaka Oji used to be the most famous guitarist in the world, touring with the rock band Black Heaven and fending off the swarms of adoring fans that followed him everywhere. That is all gone now, and Tanaka is a has-been. Having joined the ranks of corporate anonymity, he now works a bland job at a bland company and goes home to a bland family. Then in the middle of another hum-drum day, Tanaka is approached by a mysterious woman who bids him to pick up his guitar one last time and relive his days of glory, but this time for more than just fame; to save the galaxy.
