Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

When the popular Australian rock group Cold Chisel bowed out in Sydney in its last concert, both the concert and interviews with the band members were recorded in this documentary by Tony Stevens. The footage of the concert covers onstage action, backstage preparation, and the audience as well. Clips of past performances by the group illustrate their 10-year history, including the headline-grabbing performance they gave at Australia's Countdown Awards when they smashed their instruments as a way of protesting the injustices the band sees in the recording business. The band's unorthodox attempts to fight the system are also featured in this documentary since they were a part of their unique identity.
