Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Martial arts apprentice Yong Chul's status with the crime boss who took him under his wing comes under threat after he falls in love with a woman whose brother insists he abandon his criminal life. Not unsurprisingly, Yong's adoptive father takes umbrage at the news, later falling victim to alcoholism and despair. Meanwhile, Yong's mentally unstable brother Yamamoto (Hwang Jang Lee) murders the crime boss and kidnaps the girl in hopes of keeping her for himself. Despite the existence of several dangerous obstacles, Yong sets off to rescue the young girl from his brother. The Korean Connection was directed by Ko Young Nam.
