The main character in the drama The King of Iron Town is blue-collar plant worker Tyler Wells. Tyler still revels in his glory days as a high-school football star, and in an attempt to recapture that glory and escape from his difficult life he tries his hand at a local boxing competition. His plan becomes more difficult when he learns his wayward younger brother Gabe is also trying to win the competition, and that the two brothers may have to face each other in the ring.
