Jeffery Chiang Chia-chun follows up on his slick 1995 spy thriller Dream Killer with this Wong Kar-wai-inspired drama. Wong Hei is a hot chocolate enthusiast and a successful hired gun who, after pulling off a successful hit in mainland China, ventures to Malaysia for his next job. His target is a millionaire named Shek (John Ching Tung). After a few days of preparation and killing time amid atmospheric haunts in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, his moment to ice Shek comes at last. Though the millionaire fails to show up to the soiree he was supposed to attend, a notoriously talented hitman (Yu Rongguang) does arrive and plans to take out Wong Hei. Carol Lee Siu-mei also appears as a bargirl who takes a shine to the hitman.
