Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Ever the pragmatist, George Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley) thinks it would be a swell idea if his son, Lionel (Damon Evans), signed a prenuptial financial agreement with his fiancée, Jenny (Berlinda Tolbert). Alas, Jenny is insulted by the very idea that she would ever take advantage of Lionel in the event of a divorce. A quarrel ensues, culminating in the cancellation of Lionel and Jenny's upcoming wedding.
