Directed by Raoul Walsh, this silent romantic drama follows the love life of Mary Ellen Ellis (Miriam Cooper), a country girl who has fallen for urban cad David Graham (Charles Clary). Mary (Cooper) is quickly drawn into David's (Clary) life of crime and debauchery after she comes to stay with him in the city. Fortunately for her, David's heroic, wealthy brother Walter (Jack Standing) shows up in time to save Mary from what looked to be a deadly fate.
