Because he runs the fashion section of the Brno Trade Fair, Jiri (Josef Vinklar) has access to all sorts of beautiful women, so it is only natural that he has one of them as his mistress. All the same, the job is fairly stressful, and his joy is not increased on one particular day when his mistress chats up an Italian salesman. Afterwards, while driving to spend some time at his country estate, they pick up a hitchhiker. As luck would have it, he is a mechanic and is able to repair the car when the engine breaks down just as they pull in. When Jiri's wife and daughter show up, the hitchhiker throws the family women off the scent by playing the role of "boyfriend" to the model.
