Synopsis

Via archival footage, performance clips and interviews, this in-depth documentary recounts the history of renowned Hawaiian quartet the Sons of Hawaii, chronicling more than three decades of the group's storied career. Founded in 1960 by ukulele maestro Eddie Kamae, the Sons of Hawaii were the vanguard of revitalizing traditional Hawaiian music and helped fan the flames of Hawaii's cultural renaissance.
