Writer-director Nicolas Pesce’s supernatural horror film is a remake of the 2004 American version of Takashi Shimizu's 2002 Japanese horror film “Ju-On: The Grudge”. It stars Betty Gilpin, Andrea Riseborough, William Sadler, Demián Bichir, and John Cho. While investigating a series of mysterious deaths in the suburbs, a female police detective realizes that a vengeful and malevolent ghost has followed her home.
