The Bible's Gospel of John is adapted word-for-word onscreen by director David Batty. Shot in Morocco, the international version of the film, produced by the Dove Foundation, tells the story of Jesus Christ (played by Selva Rasalingam) with the narration of Brian Cox (The Bourne Identity, 25th Hour) and David Harewood (Homeland).
