The struggle of one Yemenite family reveals the incredible story of Israel's rebirth in this sweeping drama from director Robert M. Bleiweiss. As a child bride from Yemen in the late 19th Century, Mazal's youth in Jerusalem was filled with hardship and tragedy. Yet through it all she endured, providing for her family through her skills as a goldsmith, and preserving her rich cultural heritage through decades of struggle. Later, as an aging widow, her devotion to family and tradition only grows stronger, giving birth to a legacy that will be passed down through generations.
