Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The Girl of Lost Lake is tomboy Judith Clark, played by Myrtle Gonzales. Impressed by the athletic prowess of local bully Dave Bean, Judith forgets all about her childhood sweetheart Vaughan McAndrews. But when McAndrews, now a prominent artist, returns home, the situation is altered, and Judith falls in love with the boy all over again. The brutish Dave Bean tries to break up the romance by claiming that Judith and McAndrews are having an illicit affair. But it is Bean who ends up the loser -- and spectacularly so. Not content with one happy ending, the producers of Girl of Lost Lake squeezed three separate denouements into the final reel.
