Thanks to Vivian (Janet Hubert-Whitten), teen idol Little T (played by genuine teen idol Tevin Campbell) shows up to sing a special song at Ashley's 12th birthday party. Thrilled though Ashley (Tatyana M. Ali) is by this special moment, she is ecstatic when Little T asks her on a date. Suspecting that the singer's intentions are less than honorable, Philip (James Avery) suggests that Will (Will Smith) and Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) surreptitiously tag along to provide "protection" for Ashley--but as it turns out, they're not needed at all.
