In a situation straight out of I Love Lucy, Carlton (Alfonso Ribeiro) "adopts" a race horse that was headed for the glue factory--then tries to hide the fact when he brings the nag home. Meanwhile, aspiring model Ashley (Tatyana M. Ali) is offered a TV commercial that might lead to her being chosen for a top New York drama school. Philip (James Avery) is none too happy about this turn of events, feeling that the commercial is degrading and that his darling daughter will end up humiliated--but at this point, it seems he has nothing to say in the matter (a TV first!)
