Synopsis by Nathan Southern

A note of explanation for the unacquainted: on a conceptual level, the 'Found Footage Festival' actually lies closer to a comedy event than a conventional film festival. The event, presented before a live audience, publicly screens various clips found from such unlikely sources as warehouses, dumpsters, thrift stores and garbage bins, around the country. Examples include industrial videos, bizarre promotional tapes, home movies, and much more. The 2005 festival took place on March 25th of that year (Good Friday) at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, New York, and featured Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett. The clips also appear in this release. Highlights include: "McC," "Corey Haim: Me, Myself & I," "Kirk's 40th Birthday," "Wayne Brian Meyer's Wisconsin Curse 9," "Jack Rebney" and much more, all of it wild, weird and unusual.
