Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Charles Ray was just on the verge of his silent superstardom when he played the lead in Forbidden Adventure. Ray is cast as a foolish young tourist who dares to venture into a "forbidden" Indian community. He has done this to acquaint himself with an exotic woman (Louise Glaum) whom he's glimpsed but fleetingly. The upshot of this is that both Ray and the woman are banished to the desert wastes, and thus are compelled to spend the rest of the film seeking an avenue of escape. Forbidden Adventure was also released as City of the Dead.
