Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
This interesting film from Sri Lanka combines elements of socio-political consciousness with melodrama and action as it tells the disparate stories of an impoverished brother and sister who leave their humble village and whose lives take dramatically different directions. Up until the film's end, it is like watching two different stories framed by the youth uprisings of 1989.
