This first episode of King Tut: The Face of Tutankhamun investigates the search for and preliminary excavation of the tomb of King Tut. Following in the footsteps of Howard Carter, host Christopher Frayling takes viewers through the events that led the archeologist to stand before the door of King Tut's tomb. Already, controversy brewed about the site as governments and men grappled for possession of whatever might have been behind the door.
