For those who need reminding, cartoonist Al Capp of "Li'l Abner" fame was the original creator of "Sadie Hawkins Day", wherein traditional gender roles are reversed and the girls ask the boys out for dances and other such social affairs. Hazzard County's variation on this tradition is "Sadie Hogg Day" during which the females take over jobs traditionally performed by males, and vice versa. Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach) is flattered when Boss Hogg (Sorrell Booke) appoints her temporary county treasurer--little realizing that he intends to have her take the blame for the financial shortages caused by his own embezzlements!
