Synopsis by Donald Guarisco

The Deathless Devil whisks viewers back to the days of Hollywood serials with a colorful, cliffhanger-laden plot. The main bad guy here is "Dr. Satan" (Mine Mutlu), a criminal mastermind who's got his eye on stealing a device that allows for the remote control of heavy machinery. Meanwhile, a young man (Kunt Tulgar) discovers he is destined to revive his father's career as Copperhead, a masked crimefighter. Copperhead soon finds himself trying to outwit Dr. Satan with the help of his trusty but bumbling sidekick, Betik. Unfortunately, the battle won't be easy, as there are traitors in their midst and there's also a killer robot to be dealt with. The Deathless Devil is a solid representation of the Turkish superhero movie, a patchwork genre that borrowed from sources as diverse as comic books, spy films, and Mexican wrestler movies to create its own delirious synthesis of cinematic adventure. It has become popular with cult movie buffs in recent years and received a formal DVD release from Mondo Macabro in 2005.
