Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) returns to the teaching job he held before the car accident that put him in a coma six years before. In the process, Johnny's confidence in his second-sight powers grows as he tries to save a high school hockey star from a potentially fatal heart condition. Unfortunately, our hero meets with resistance from the athlete's doctors, who refuse to "waste" their time with psychic prophecy.
