Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This inexpensively assembled actioner takes place in Canada (or a reasonably facsimile thereof). While visiting a Mountie post with her father, the heroine falls in love with a handsome lieutenant. When one day the couple takes a stroll through the forest, the boy and girl stumble upon her father's body. It is later revealed that the dead man had been a member of a secret Hindu society known as "The Shinto" (talk about mixing cultures!) The cultists murder the lieutenant's superior officer and kidnap the girl, leading to a climactic car chase through the Canadian rocks and rills. Star Kenneth MacDougall kept the film's costs down by doubling as director.
