Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Based on a Johnston McCulley short story, this long-lost silent Northwest melodrama featured Frank Mayo as the son of a lumber king going to work for his father under an assumed name. The Oxford graduate reveals himself to be a college boxing champion, defeats the camp bully (Harry Northrup) and a gang of bootleggers, gets medical help for a youngster (Burwell Hamrick) suffering from a clubfoot, and saves the superintendent's pretty daughter (Kathryn Adams) from an ice flood. The Brute Breaker was remade by Universal in 1926 as The Ice Flood.
