Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Reginald Fox ruins a good acting opportunity here by overplaying. He has a dual role (quite common in the late 1910s and early 1920s) -- brothers Geoffrey and George Gale. Although Geoffrey is the wild one, it's George, a clerical student, who's the bad seed. Both men love the same girl, Renee Burke (Madge Stuart), and she prefers the good-hearted Geoffrey. But George wins her by getting his brother out of the way -- he forges a check and allows Geoffrey to take the blame. But his conscience begins to eat away at him, and all his praying doesn't make him feel better. Finally, when Geoffrey escapes from the prison, George atones for his deed by once again pretending to be his brother and allowing himself to be captured. Geoffrey is now free to be with Renee.
