Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Beautiful Asian action star Michelle Reis plays a dual role in this Hong Kong thriller from director Casey Chan. As fashion coordinator Michelle Lam, she is murdered in Japan as the film opens by a hitwoman named Fan Lin, who happens to be her exact double, and is also played by Reis. They had been childhood friends, but Lin was later kidnapped and sold away. Now, working for a Japanese client, Lin takes Michelle's place on the island where they grew up, intending to retrieve a computer disc used by Michelle's boyfriend Ken (Lester Chan) as part of a counterfeiting operation. Another of Lin and Michelle's childhood friends, Michael Fu (Lau Sek-ming) -- who developed a new strain of flower which gives the film its title -- is also on the island and falls in love with the assassin, thinking her to be Michelle. Michael is also friends with Officer Tsao (Waise Lee), who starts growing suspicious when the Japanese police discover the real Michelle's corpse. Woo Fung and Cho Wing co-star in this predictable but engaging thriller.
