One of the most popular and influential children's television shows of the '50s, The Mickey Mouse Club featured a cast of talented youngsters who sang, danced, performed comedy sketches, and introduced both cartoons and live-action segments. Some of the better known "Mousketeers" included Annette Funicello, who went on to a successful career as an actress and singer, and Dick Dodd, who became the drummer and singer for garage rock heroes the Standells.
