Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur

The Beatles: A Long and Winding Road, Episode 5: Love, Litigation & Let It Be is the final installment of a five-part documentary series produced by Passport Entertainment. Recorded in color and black-and-white, this hour-long volume focuses on the years 1967 to the early 2000s. The Beatles stopped touring and went into the studio, leading to years of artistic prosperity. Several conflicts arose later, however, including a scheduling problem between the release of Let It Be and Paul McCartney's solo album. Other tensions occurred and McCartney sued the group, leading to its breakup in 1970. This episode also covers the death of John Lennon in 1980 and George Harrison in 2001.
