The Beatles: A Long and Winding Road, Episode 1: There Are Places I Remember is the first installment of a five-part documentary series produced by Passport Entertainment. Recorded in color and black-and-white, this hour-long volume focuses on the years 1940-1958. The band started in Liverpool, a working-class borough in northwest England on the Mersey River near the Irish Sea. Episode 1 includes interviews with John Lennon's sister Julia Baird and the original members of the Quarrymen, in addition to bonus footage of Lennon and his family.
