Japanese documentarist Mitsuru Okabe has built a unique career as a filmmaker, shooting films that take viewers behind the scenes of weightlifting competitions for "extreme" glimpses of bodybuilders' workout regimens. Okabe's Battle for Olympia 2000 hones in on the 2000 Mr. Olympia weightlifting contest for a look at the preparations undertaken by such contestants as Kevin Levrone, Dexter Jackson, Dennis James and Jay Cutler.
