Synopsis by Ronnie D. Lankford, Jr.

In the first segment of the program, host Michael Moore throws a party for eight men and women who will soon be deported to Mexico. All eight had worked for Holiday Inn, Moore notes, and were reported to the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) when they formed a union. Moore hires two inspectors, for health and safety, and travels to a Holiday Inn for an investigation. When fire and health violations are discovered, the evidence is delivered to city officials. Meanwhile, Moore travels to Washington, D.C., where he tries to prevent the deportation of the hotel workers. In the second segment of the program, Sal Piro, The Awful Truth's bill collector, confronts BMW over the issue of slave labor used during World War II. Disgusted by the company's refusal to pay damages or even speak to a former laborer, Piro smashes a window out of a BMW. Throughout the program, Moore points out that Germans enjoy six weeks of vacation each year. To emphasize this, he sets up a display of vacationing Germans in Times Square.
