Synopsis by Ronnie D. Lankford, Jr.

Standing in Times Square, host Michael Moore begins the first show of the second season by announcing that he is advertiser friendly. Throughout the program ex-convicts endorse various products after relating their crime and the number of years spent in prison. Meanwhile, Moore decides that Americans need a new way to choose a presidential candidate. He institutes a mobile "mosh pit" and visits a number of candidates, inviting each one to jump into the pit. Senator Orrin Hatch agrees to a body slam with Moore, but no mosh pit. Finally, Alan Keyes agrees to jump into the pit and wins the endorsement. In the final segment of the program, The Awful Truth decides that the National Rifle Association's (NRA) mascot, Eddie Eagle, isn't doing enough to teach kids about guns. A new satirical mascot, Pistol Pete, who looks like a large pistol, teaches kids fun songs about shooting guns. He travels to a Las Vegas gun show, the NRA headquarters, and finally Washington, D.C., where he is accosted by security.
