Artist's Profile: Suzanne Ciani profiles musician Suzanne Ciani, whose work has spanned almost three decades. A pioneer of electronic music in the late '60s, Ciani quickly became known as an innovator of the synthesizer. She has now achieved platinum album success and international celebrity. Ciani has also composed music and sound design for AT&T, Merryl Lynch, and General Electric. The video includes performances with her jazz supergroup the Wave, live performances with a symphony orchestra in Milan, as well as several piano pieces played in her own cozy living room. She discusses her life and the positive power of women's music in a male-dominated industry.
