Synopsis
American presidents are profiled in this 10-hour 2000 series from the producers of the Emmy-winning 1988 documentary 'JFK: In His Own Words.' The series gives each chief executive about 15 minutes and studies them thematically rather than chronologically. Political figures and journalists (Colin Powell, Tim Russert, Bob Dole and John Glenn among them) supply the voices for presidents who served before the advent of sound recording.
