Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Beginning life as a one-off installment of the BBC anthology Comedy Playhouse on March 25, 1970, the British sitcom That's Your Funeral launched its weekly run on January 22, 1971. Bill Fraser starred as Basil Bulstrode, the nasty, abusive head undertaker in a North Country funeral parlor. Much of the humor was generated by Basil's incompetent staffers, who had a bad habit of misplacing "customers" and showing up at the wrong funeral. Running seven episodes in all, That's Your Funeral was last seen on February 26, 1971.
