A police detective interrogates a woman convicted of prostitution, drug possession and child neglect in order to investigate her claim that she was abducted and held captive by a sadistic psychopath in this taut psychological thriller. When Detective Ben Nolan (Michael Madsen) sits down across from Linda Grossel (Una Jo Blade), he's skeptical that she's telling the truth about her ordeal. The more Linda elaborates on the details, however, the further her psychological state appears to deteriorate. Later, when the shaken inmate concludes her harrowing story, the cynical detective wrestles with the difficult decision to continue the investigation, or leave Linda to serve out the rest of her stiff prison sentence.
