Tenchi Universe can be seen as an alternate version of the original Tenchi Muyo! OVA series. Here, we find assorted alien women from all over the galaxy all cramming into Tenchi's life and vying for his attention. From two private detectives to a princess to a pirate, Tenchi has more women in his life than he can handle. Things don't end there, though. Tenchi's own heritage, as well as his destiny, could be as out of this world as his new friends.
