Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

In this implausible and uneven melodrama, actually a crude propaganda film touting sex education, Walter Tennyson and Doris Eaton star as star-crossed lovers. For health reasons, Rosny (Eaton) is sent to a horse farm by her socially conscious mother Lady Sybil (Margaret Halstan). There, she falls in love with John (Tennyson), a young worker, and the two secretly marry and spend one night of passion together. To separate the two young lovers -- though their disapproving families are unaware that they are already husband and wife -- Rosny's mother sends her off to another town in England and John is sent far away to America. Later, as a result of the star-crossed couple's union, Rosny gives birth to a child but the midwife mistakenly tells Rosny that her baby has died. Soon after the birth, Lady Sybil sells her daughter to Lord Belhurst (Warwick Ward), who marries the young woman. She suffers through four years in the loveless marriage until her husband is killed by irate Arabs for insulting a dancing girl. John and Rosny are eventually reunited, and it is then that John reveals that the young boy in his company is their son.
