This OVA series serves as something of a sequel to the original Tekkaman Blade TV series. The story focuses around Yumi Francois, a mechanic who is now a Tekkaman, and his dealings with the Black Tekkaman who wishes destruction for the Space Knights. This series is considered in many ways superior to the original TV series with improvements in quality of art and a more gritty, complex storyline.
