Synopsis by Nathan Southern
The Thai horror-comedy Taxi Tonight begins with a penniless would-be taxi-driver, keen on firing up his own cab company, who opts to purchase a used vehicle to hire out to patrons. The plan backfires when ominous signs suggest that the cab is possessed by a host of evil spirits - signs that (alongside the typical nightly stress of obnoxious passengers and rotten gratuities) threaten to push the poor man to the brink of utter insanity. It's the hilarity of Ghostbusters vis-à-vis the terror of Christine, for a wild and wicked ride through the nighttime streets and back alleys.
