Synopsis by Rovi

Aspiring actor Bobby (Jeff Conaway) is persuaded that his fellow cabbie, would-be boxing champ Tony Banta (Tony Danza), would be a "natural" for a theatrical career. As a result, Tony shows up at an audition trading dialogue instead of punches. Ultimately, Bobby comes to regret his "discovery" of Tony -- especially when the uniquely untalented pugilist seems poised to become a bona fide movie star. Series producer Ed Weinberger appears in the role of Jerry Lowell.
