In the first episode of a two-part story, klutzy John Burns (Randall Carver) smashes up cab 804, the oldest vehicle in the garage and the unofficial "mascot" of the Sunshine Cab Company. As Latka (Andy Kaufman) struggles to save cab 804 from the junkyard, the other cabbies recall their own experiences while driving the legendary taxi. Highlights in this episode include Tony's (Tony Danza) encounter with a would-be suicide (played by Taxi co-creator Ed Weinberger), and Bobby's (Jeff Conaway) slapstick standoff with an inept robber.
