Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Najmul Hussain directs this wacky romantic comedy centering on a womanizing doctor named Ambadas (David), his infertile wife Vidya Devi (Durga Khote), the comely Kishori (Swarnalata) and the impoverished photographer Jayant (Motilal) who is utterly and completely in love with Kishori. After a series of humorous complications and misunderstanding -- including Kishori's dog chasing Ambadas into a river and an overheard, misconstrued conversation -- all four become convinced that the only honorable way out of their predicament is to commit suicide.
