Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Behrouz Vosoughi stars in this film about a courageous peasant who embodies Iranian legends of the Tangsir people. When he hunts and kills the aristocrats who callously robbed him of his life-savings, it has the effect of sparking a local rebellion. This film was wildly popular in its native Iran when it was shown in 1973, a few years before the fall of the Shah.
