Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Grecian documentarist Yorgos Avgeropoulos helms this disturbing social issues film, where he takes a headlong plunge into the Pakistani civil war and examines the Taliban's bloodthirsty drive-for-power from the pre-occupied tribal belt to the mainland government. In the process, Avergopoulos delivers key insights about the historical evolution of the Taliban and the average psychological profiles of the individuals who fall prey to its lure, as well as the individual, national and global implications of the group's activities per se.
