Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The obscure British comedy-adventure series Take a Pair of Private Eyes was forged from the old reliable Thin Man mold. Derek Fowlds and Jeanne Roland starred as Ambrose and Dominique Frayne, a husband-and-wife private-detective team. The Fraynes were occasionally assisted by Ambrose's dad Hector (Sam Kydd), who had a surprising amount of inside knowledge about crime and criminals. Created by Peter O'Donnell, Take a Pair of Private Eyes yielded six 55-minute episodes, which aired over BBC2 from April 10 to May 15, 1966.
